Adverse Childhood Experiences (Childhood Trauma)
Global evidence has demonstrated Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) up to age 18 significantly increase an adult’s mental and physical health risk. The research linking ACE with health and well-being has confirmed a dose-response relationship (i.e., more ACE exposure results in a more substantial negative impact on mental health) between the number of ACEs experienced and the extent of the impact on well-being. The source of ACE is the family, community, and immediate environment, and it causes long-term risks for mental health.
We focus on identifying and addressing the negative impact of childhood trauma by (a) assessing several adverse childhood experiences and mental health parameters such as anxiety, depression, sleep quality, trauma, and well-being, (b) Using techniques from our Release Reframe Toolkit to help our clients overcome the impact of childhood traumas that are affecting their mental health & functionality as adults. This work is backed by our published research on ACEs, anxiety & depression, Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD), well-being, and quality of life
Regression Therapy & Reconsolidation Of Traumatic Memory
Regression Therapy leverages the insights from ACE and mental health assessments to identify and address the negative impact of the trauma (childhood/adulthood). The process helps discover and re-live earlier experiences that have caused present complaints and conditions. The goal is to release the emotions from those negative experiences and reactivate positive feelings and forgotten positive experiences. Such programs (“character traits”) only change when we understand how they were caused and why we have held on to them.
Our “Release Reframe Toolkit” includes evidence-based methods such as RTM (Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories) based on current neuroscience evidence for addressing PTSD and CPTSD.
Healing The Inner Child
This specialisation deals with adverse childhood experiences (ACE) during life’s early or later stages. Releasing the Inner child’s emotional pain, disempowering beliefs, and coping decisions can free up the adult from these limiting patterns and subconscious impressions. The inner child process empowers the person to achieve his/her true potential and reclaim their authentic adult self. Inner Child Integration work is done using Hypnosis and Non Hypnotic methods. We also integrate Empty Chair Techniques, Psychosynthesis, and Parts work.
Clinical Hypnotherapy
Controlling and directing the subconscious mind is the key to personal transformation and is also the goal of Hypnotherapy. Suggestions offered to your subconscious during a hypnotic trance can remove psychological obstacles, limiting beliefs, and eliminate fears, phobias & anxiety. They also help in building confidence and self-esteem. This therapy is a very useful approach for students, teachers, working adults, full-time mothers, athletes, and performers; this therapy helps boost confidence and self-esteem. Guided Imagery, Anchoring, and positive suggestions are powerful practices that can be used on self and others to transform beliefs, habits, perceptions, and health. Self-hypnosis (The SEE Protocol developed by us) is a powerful, evidence-based tool for self-management of stress and positive goal setting.
Past Life Regression
The therapy also includes Life Between Life Work which can be a very powerful experience to get a complete perception of who you are as the total of your past lives, the collaboration of your soul with other souls, guides, and teachers, and what you are learning now.
At Wellness Space, we also teach Past Life Regression as part of Integrated Regression Therapy & Life Coaching Certification (Details). This training is certified by Society for Energy & Emotions, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The certification process involves case study and work on the evidence based approach to integrate the work with psychiatry, psychology and client-specific problems. The participant is also expected to do the self-work to experience the benefits of the therapy and address challenges in his/her own life.
Sound Healing
Sound healing works on the scientific principle that everything in nature, including our bodies vibrate at a unique frequency, which must be balanced. When our natural frequencies get imbalanced, they trigger diseases and emotional imbalances. It creates a balance in our mind and body system and has the power to heal not just emotional imbalance but also mental and physical imbalance. We integrate various modalities – Yoga Therapy, Chanting, Tuning forks and Himalayan Singing Bowls – based on the client needs and facilitate the life transformation.
(Note: Himalayan Singing Bowls is a generic term used to describe vessel shaped singing bowls which make sound with multiple harmonics. These bowls are found across the Himalayan region from Tibet in China and in various states of India such as Assam, Sikkim and also in Bhutan)
