Case Study Supervision – 25 Hours

As part of the certification journey, candidates are required to complete a minimum of 25 hours of supervised case study work (5 hours per module, from Module 2 to 6). This forms a vital bridge between learning and independent practice. The process is designed to be comprehensive and experiential, providing trainees with a structured environment in which to apply therapeutic tools and techniques while receiving expert feedback and guidance.

Participants are expected to:

  • Work on real-world case studies, both online and offline, providing diverse and practical exposure.
  • Engage in ongoing supervision, where experienced facilitators offer detailed insights, suggestions, and reflections to deepen the understanding of the therapeutic process.
  • Review and integrate existing research, books, and literature relevant to the case work and themes arising.

Participate in the supervision of earlier modules, which reinforces learning and builds mentoring capabilities.

In addition, each participant pursuing EARTh certification is required to work on self (EARTh mandates a minimum of 6 personal therapy sessions).  This occurs through therapy or coaching sessions with the guidance of a certified therapist. This fosters personal recovery and growth.

Overall, this supervised case study phase is an extensive practice opportunity—a chance to grow in confidence, receive mentorship, and refine your skills before stepping into professional practice.
