Most people who find their way to Riri are carrying something they can’t quite name — a pattern that keeps repeating, a reaction that seems too big for the moment, a sense that something happened a long time ago and never quite finished. Her work is helping people find that thing, and finish it.
She has spent the last decade doing this — with clients in Ahmedabad and online, and training therapists across India, Singapore, New Zealand and Malaysia. Her PhD examined how adverse childhood experiences shape anxiety, depression and well-being in Indian adults. But the credentials below matter less than whether this sounds like your experience. If it does, that’s the conversation worth having.
Dr Riri G Trivedi is a co-founder of Wellness Space. She specialises in Evidence-Based Psychotherapy and Life Coaching, focusing on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE), Inner Child Integration Techniques and Hypnotherapy.
Her credentials include certifications as a Trauma Sensitive HeartMath® Practitioner and an Inner Child Integration Therapist. She is also an Integrated Clinical Hypnotherapist and has been a Trainer for the EKAA Foundation in India. She holds certifications in yoga therapy and teaching (S-Vyasa Singapore) and advanced credentials in family yoga, Yin Yoga and Gestalt practices.
She is the author of “This Book Won’t Teach You Parenting”, published by Penguin Random House India with Anagha Nagpal. She has recently co-authored the childhood trauma book What Happened to Me? vs What’s Wrong with Me?: Indian Perspectives on Childhood Trauma and Recovery, published by Ebury Press, Penguin Random House India. She has also co-authored a book on Breast Cancer: Medical Treatment, Side Effects, and Complementary Therapies’, both available online.
She has completed her PhD, with her doctoral thesis titled “Adverse Childhood Experiences and Their Relationship with Anxiety, Depression, and Subjective Well-Being among Adults in India“, and has published several papers on Childhood trauma and mental health in leading journals. As a social media educator with over 1.4 million followers across Meta and YouTube, she uses her platform to raise awareness about mental health. Riri holds a Diploma in Past Life Regression Therapy from the Past Life Regression Academy (UK) and is a member of the Spiritual Regression Therapy Association (SRTA).
In the past decade, Riri G Trivedi has trained psychotherapists globally and conducted workshops in Singapore, New Zealand, India, and Malaysia. Reaching out to Wellness Space, especially Riri ma’am, Minakshi Ma’am and Rene was the best decision of my life. Last few years we’re really difficult for my mental health and I had reached a point where it was affecting my physical well-being and life in general. Almost after two months of rigorous therapy with Riri Maam & Minakshi Maam, I recovered from all the trauma I was suffering, I’m still a work in progress and there’s a long way to go but I’m glad that with the best guidance and care I’ve embarked on this journey. Thank you so much Wellness Space.
